The Alpe-Adria-Trial is promoting a debut for Viewmake. Viewmake is the new Tourmake easy tool, that allows you to create virtual tours in 360 °, in complete freedom and autonomy. So the Alpe-Adria-Trail brought Viewmake on the roof of Europe developing a trekking route without borders between Italy, Slovenia and Austria.
The project is a transnational cooperation of three tourism organizations: the Kärnten Werbung for Austria, Slovenska Turistična Organizacija for Slovenia and the Agency for Tourism Friuli Venezia Giulia for Italy. The tool that describes this spectacular journey of over 750 km is indeed Viewmake.
This is a new project developed on the Tourmake platform. That's a simple and intuitive tour made with spherical photos, information and multimedia contents translated into three languages: Italian, German and Slovenian.
Behind the lens, two photographers of of recognised competence: Giuseppe Ghedina, engaged for panoramic images building, and Toni Bornacin for the commercial and multimedia context. To the latter we reserve our thanks for the professionalism that distinguish him.
Well mapped 43 stages, 20 days of shooting, 2,000 pictures taken, 280 panoramas, created thanks to Viewmake, this tour shows a charming and enchanting location surrounded by nature. Important numbers for this tour which immerses you in a georeferenced itinerary never mapped before.
The main stages of the tour: it starts from the mountains of Carinthia, than the National Park Hohe Tauern, the mills of Apriach and the Millstätter Alpe (hiking area among the most beautiful in the region). These are just some of the specifics that you can observe on the way to Austria.
Subsequently we arrive in Slovenia, in Kransjka Gora to follow the river Soca, to dig into the Julian Alps, and to reach finally Bovec Kobarid and Tolmin.
Last step is Italy, where discover the Natisone Valleys and Cividale of Friuli, Collio, the Carso and the port of Muggia, to mention just the main stages.
